September 23, 2008 Brooklyn's Birthday

We celebrated Brooklyn's birthday on the 23, of September at her house in Washington, Ut...Her step Tanner was present as were Aunt Teresa and Uncle Mort and there daughter Lacy. Grandma and Grandpa Turner and Grandma and Grandpa Anderson, Mom and Tim. Brooklyn had a grand time. She had strawberry cheesecake and a cake.

Picnic up Chalk Creek Canyon, Fillmore, Utah

We had a good time up Chalk Creek Canyon for our picnic that evening. Lonnie and Debbie had already left for St. George for Carson's baby blessing on Sunday. So Trevell, Carien, Addie, Brody, Darin, Dusty, Skyler, Corbin and Jersey had a good time, along with Grandma and Grandpa Anderson.

September 13 2008

Darve and Joanie came up from St. George and spent part of Friday with us. We had such an enjoyable afternoon and evening with them. We hope they will be able to come and visit with us again. Darve and Joanie admired the new windows that Trevell helped Dexter put in last Monday. They were the last 4. Lonnie with Kaylee, James, Katelyn and Jason came earlier in the year and put the kitchen, bathroom and our bedroom windows in. What a blessing it is that we have children that take the time out of their very busy lives to come and help us. We love them very much.
Darve and Joanie left this morning to go over to Delta area and watch her cousin on a 30 mile motorcycle race. It should be a very nice day for them, with sunny skies and so far no wind.

September 2008

We are having such a wonderful September this year. It has been very busy. Lonnie and Debbie and the children came through and spent a night with us as they traveled on down to St. George so that Debbie could visit with her brother Jeff and children from Arizona.
Last week end, Trevell and Carien and children, Darin and Dusty and children and Lonnie and Debbie and children were here for most of the week end. We traveled to St. George where Teresa and Tim had their baby blessed. Carson Jerald Turner. Dexter gave the blessing, while Uncles and Grandpa Turner stood in the circle. After words we went to Nisons Park in Washington, UT and had a wonderful picnic. The children played in the ditch water and had a very good time. I have pictures that I would like to include but will need to call Debbie and ask her how to do it again. With out her I would still be wondering how to start a blog.
All of our children were present at the Blessing September 7. Deena and Shann and their boys met us in St. George. 29 nine of us getting together. That does not include Tim's side of the family . But we all had a good time visiting and eating.
