I am just now posting our deer hunt experince for this year. We all had fun. Lonnie and his family were there as well as Trevell and his family. We did alot of road hunting which we all enjoy. I really enjoyed the scenery more than getting the BIG BUCK....We fed the last bottled deer meat from 2003 to the cats this morning. I wondered what we would do with the meat if we had got one. I would have probably bottled it and then fed it to the cats later on.....
We had a couple of great camp fires to sit around. And Krystin instigated a game of words to tell a storey....which ended up with a lot of laughs. Some wanted spooky stories. We did marshmellows and hot dogs... Oh what memories we all will have.
I am sorry to say that we had to break camp early Sunday morning. My right knee was beginning to give me such pain that I could not walk on it. It was horrible pain. None that I can remember ever having. Finally Monday morning I got in to see a doctor. After blood work, X-ray, ( to see if it was broken) Ultra sound late that night ( finding that I did not have a blood clot) I had to come back in Tuesday morning...Dr. Grose wanted to stick a needle in my knee to draw some fluid out to have tested. Well of course having the body that I do he stuck the first needle in to numb the knee. Ha Ha it of course was worse than going to the dentist. He said not to call him names. He put another needle in and couldn't get any fluid. Puzzled he then got a bigger needle. Still didn't work. He was really puzzled. He said he should go get a longer and larger needle, I just looked at him put my hand over my knee and said sorry. You had your chance. So after telling him that my Uric Acid was high on the blood tests he decided that I had Arthitic Gout. Anyway at this time of wrighting my knee is still sore. The calf muscles are hard as rocks, red in color and very sore. So instead of crutches that I used for two days I can now limp around or drag my leg. CAn't find my cane. Hmmmm ... Maybe I could dress up as Egor and drag my leg around. Hopefully by next week it will be better.
Today Dexter went up above Holden, UT to cut some fire wood for the winter. I just couldn't go with him . So ending on this note I will try and get the laundry done. Happy Fall!!!!
